The mission of SOCRATES Online is to provide expanded educational options for K–12 learners, promote the availability of online courses among consortium members, improve the scope and quality of online learning and assure a quality learning environment for students and teachers. SOCRATES Online will:
- Support standards-aligned, fully-online courses and blended learning for Minnesota students.
- Provide professional development and collaboration tools for online educators.
- Integrate, support and improve the development of K-12 instruction that use virtual support tools.
